"I AM" – A Declaration Of Faith

Who Am I? How do you see yourself? What does God see when He looks at us? How does God expect us to live? I AM! These are two of the most powerful words, and what you put behind them will indeed shape your destiny…”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I am one of God’s beautiful creations, created in His images and after His likeness which is His authority and his power. I am redeemed through the blood of Jesus and forgiven of all my sins according to the riches of His grace. I am born of the Spirit of God and I am filled with His Holy Spirit. I therefore possess and walk in the fruit of the spirit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. I am an Ambassador for Christ. I am his representative here on earth. I am God’s official Legislature and law enforcement agent because I have an unction from the Holy One.
I am a fellow citizen with the saints and of the household of God. I am built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone. I therefore walk in the power of God, I walk in the authority of God and I walk in divine dominion. I am the salt of the earth and the light of the world. (Gen.1:26-27; Eph.1:7; Gal.5:22-23; 2 Cor.5:20; 1 John 2:20; Eph.2:19-20; Mat.5:13-14)

I am a student of the word of God and I diligently study His word daily to show myself approved unto Him. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know how to rightfully divide and skilfully use the word of truth. I am wise in God and the things of God and I daily know to cleave to that which is right and move away from the things that are evil. (2 Tim.2:15; Rom.1:16; Joshua 1:8; Ps.111:10; Prov.3:1-8)

I am not forgotten. I am never forsaken – as God knows each star by their name and not one is lost to Him so it is God knows my name and every hair upon my head. I did not choose to be ‘I am,’ I am an offspring of the I AM that I AM who spoke with Moses in Exodus 3:14. I am the apple of God’s eyes and He keeps me safe under the shadow of His wings. I am the bride of Christ. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I have God’s Spirit upon me and within me. His presence exudes through me.

I am not conformed to the world’s way of thinking.I am healthy in my body and I am spiritually well and whole. I am renewed in my mind, thoughts and ways because I am transformed by the word of God. I think only on the things that are true, honourable, noble, pure, lovely, and praise worthy. (Heb.13:5; Isaiah 40:26; Mat.10:30; Isaiah 43:1; Ps.17:8; Sol.4:7-11; Isaiah 54:5; Ps.139:14; John 3:5;14:16,26; Acts 11:16; Rom.8:16; Rom.12:2; Phi.4:7-8)

I am royalty because my Father is King of kings and Lord of lords. I have His royal blood flowing through my veins and I also have His royal DNA. I am heir with God. I am joint-heir with His Son Jesus Christ. I suffer no lack because He owns everything seen and unseen. Every beast of the forest, the cattle upon a thousand hills, the earth and the fullness  thereof, the world and all that is in it belong to Him. All good things have I inherited through my life in Christ. Every place that the sole of my feet shall tread on He has already given to me. My first priority and passion in life is to seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness – as a result of my heart and passion to please Him, He causes all my needs and desires to be added unto me. I am the redeemed of the Lord. Whatever I confess according to the word of God concerning my life, my family, healing, health, peace, prosperity, safety or any of His blessings comes to pass. I am successful in God my Heavenly Father because the wealth that the wicked had holding up for me, God has caused it to be released and to flow to me. People are right now looking for me to give into my bosom all that has been ordained for me to have. Eyes have not seen anything like this before, ears have not heard it before, and never could it have been imagined in the human mind or conceived in the human heart what God is about to do in my life because of His unconditional love for me and my love in return to Him. (Ps.107:2; John 14:13; Luke 19:17; Isaiah 53:5; Jer.29:11; Job 20:15-18; 1 Cor.2:9)

I am God’s anointed warrior according to Psalm 18:29-50. My God is Jehovah Jireh. I am called according to Isaiah 42:1-4. I am set apart according to 1 Samuel 1:27-28 and my spirit is keenly sensitive and obedient to the voice of God. I am anointed by God according to Isaiah 61:1-3 and I have a double portion of Elijah’s spirit. I have the authority to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo and remove burdens, to let the oppressed go free, to break and destroy every yoke of the devil from my life and from the lives of others. I am appointed by God and He has equipped me for the work of the ministry which includes the ministry of reconciliation. (Gen.22:14; 2 Kings 2:9; Luke 4:18; Mat.16:19; Col.1:25; Mark 16:15; Acts 26:16-18; 2 Cor.5:18; Col.1:23-25)

I am a doer of the word and not just a hearer. I am a mighty man/woman of valour. I have a commanding voice and therefore my confessions falls in line with the word of God. As I speak the word of God they are no longer my words, but God’s words. The word of God that I speak cannot and shall not return void but shall accomplish and strike the mark of that which it was sent to perform through my prayers and confession.

I am a priest and king in Christ Jesus and whatever I decree as a king and priest shall be established. I have authority according to the word of God to speak to my mountains and whatever mountains that I speak to and command to be removed, they must obey me, be uprooted, removed and cast into the sea. (James 1:22; Judges 6:12; Luke 1:28; Isaiah 55:11; Rev.1:6; Job 22:27-28; Numbers 14:28; Mat.21:21)

I am special according to Luke 1:28-30 and 1 Samuel 1:18-20. I am immovable and unshakable in God and in Him I am able to withstand the storms of life. My body which is the temple of His Holy Spirit is also built upon the rock Christ Jesus. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I am an original. I am uniquely created and I am one of a kind. I am an expression of God’s love. God is love and love created me so that He could love me. My Heavenly Father has given me a great work to accomplish. I am complete in Him and I have the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in me.

I am risen with Christ and seek those things that are above that I may please Him. I sit in heavenly places in Him because I dwell in Him and He in me. I remain in the secret place in Him and I abide under the shadow of His wings. I have Kingdom Diplomatic Immunity against all evil according to Psalm 91 and I now apply God’s word to my life, my family’s life and all that is mine. (Luke 6:47-48; Mat.16:18; 1 John 4:16; Mark 16:15; Mat.11:12; Col.2:9-10; Col.3:1-2; Eph.2:6; Col.2:12)

I am the righteousness of god in Christ Jesus and for this reason according to Proverbs 28:1, I am as bold as a Lion. I am wise as a serpent yet I am harmless as a dove. According to Luke 10:19, I have the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and I have power over all the enemy. According to Joshua 1:5, no man shall be able to stand before me for the rest of my days.

I am blessed according to Deut.28:1-14 and I cannot be cursed because the high praises of God are in my mouth and a two-edged sword is in my hand. I am blessed and highly favored. I am blessed in my coming in and blessed in my going out. I am blessed in the city and blessed in the field. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail and no matter what I go through I will always be victorious. I am a born leader and I do not follow others to do wrong. (2 Cor.5:21; Mat.10:16; Ps.149:6-9; Gen.2:16-17; Ps.1:1; Mat.4:10; 1 John 5:21; John 15:16)

I am a forerunner and I am a trailblazer. I am strong even when I am at my weakest point because it is not by my power nor by my might but by the Spirit of the Lord who makes His strength perfect in me. I am an overcomer as I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. I am in Christ therefore old things are passed away and all things have become new. The life that I now live is to please Christ only who shed His blood and died for me. I am a man/woman of faith. I am justified by faith and therefore I have the peace of God with me. I live by faith, I speak by faith, I believe by faith, I see by faith and therefore I have an expectation to receive what I have prayed for and confessed by faith. I walk by faith and not by sight. (Mal.3:1; Mat.11:10; Ruth 2:2-3, 15-17; Zec.4:6; 2 Cor.12:9-10; Rev.12:10-11; 2 Cor.5:17; 2 Cor.5:15; Luke 12:4-5; Rom.5:1; 2 Cor.5:7)

I am a chosen generation, I am a royal priesthood, I am a holy nation and a peculiar people. I am called to show forth the praises of God. I am called out of darkness into God’s marvellous light. I am a workman in the word of God. I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. I am productive in very area of my life. I am a man/woman of purpose, passion, and power and whatsoever my hands touch will prosper. I am daily loaded with benefits. I increase daily in wisdom and understanding. I am a man/woman of integrity and truth only comes from me. I am destined for greatness because my heavenly father’s thoughts and plan is to prosper me and to give me the expected outcome according to the measure of my faith in Him. (1 Peter 2:9; Rom.8:33-34; Eph.2:10; Ps.1:1-4; Ps.68:19; Prov.2:1-8; 1 John 2:21; Jer.29:11)

I am a firm believer and therefore out of my belly shall always flow rivers of living waters. I am a true worshipper who worships God in spirit and truth and because my worship is true, it not only gets the attention of God, but it qualifies me for miracles, and reserves my place in the Kingdom of God. According to the word of God, my oil shall never run out. Miracles, signs and wonders shall follow me, exemplifying that I am a believer who has been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and that I am filled with His Holy Spirit. I am the temple of the Holy Ghost.

Therefore, greater is Jesus Christ who lives, rules, reigns, dwells within me, and empowers me than the enemy that is against me in the world. I am victorious, and I walk in total and complete victory in every area of my life. Jesus is seated in heavenly places with all things under His feet. I am hid in Him and therefore demonic principalities, power, ruler of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness are also under my feet. I am strong in the Lord, and I overcome the wicked one, because the word of God abides within me. (John 7:38; John 4:14-15, 23-24; 2 Kings 4; Mark 16:17-18; 1 Cor.6:19; 1 John 2:14; John 15:7)

I am a king unto the most high King Jesus Christ and where the word of God is there is liberty, power and authority. (Rev.1:6) I am a child of God and He is for me. (Rom.8:16,31) And since God is for me, then no person, devil, demonic spirit, force or principality can stand against me, nor can they come against me and succeed. (Isaiah 54:17)

I am rooted, I am settled, and I am established in my faith in Christ. I now choose to walk in authority and dominion as a king. I put on the helmet of salvation knowing who I am in Christ and who He is in me. (Eph.6:17) As I speak, decree and declare the word of God it cannot be stooped, hindered or hampered by the enemy (Isaiah 55:11) because, I am in Christ and Christ is in me. I now seal this I AM declaration by faith, the blood of Jesus, and by the Spirit of God to whom be all the glory, honour, dominion and power in Jesus name, amen.
