Meet Contributing Author and Freelance Writer Jaco Alberts

Jaco Alberts and family

It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Empowerment Moments Blog newest contributing Author Jaco Alberts.

I first met Jaco in May 2015 through the ABC community on Aha!NOW and soon after I visited his blog and began interacting with him through this post: The Secret of Goal Setting and Planning As he continued his blogging journey, we interacted more here on EMB and on his other blog The Victory Lifestyle and also through our various social media sites.

Jaco is a Christian blogger and Freelance writer who lives in Durban, South Africa with his wife Elmarie. They have two beautiful daughters Danielle and Lucinda.

He loves writing about faith and how our thinking impacts our lives. It is Jaco’s mission to end the confusion by showing how we shouldn’t be pre-occupied by what people are saying. He believes we should test everything we hear against the one and only true source, the Bible.

Only then can we decide who we should listen to and who to avoid. He thinks by eliminating the confusion, we can focus on the truth, and daily renew our minds to live the life God wants us to live.

Jaco’s newest and recently launched blog is Your Mind Renewed where you can read much more information about him and his journey in life thus far.

Jaco makes his debut as Author here on EMB on Monday November 16th 2015, with a post entitled “6 People Who Have The Guts To Put God First, No Matter What Others Say [And You Can Do The Same]

It’s a post you don’t want to miss!

    • Hi Philip

Thanks for your kind words of encouragement which is well received. My guess is that Jaco shares the same sentiment and appreciate your support for his work.

Your observation about buttons not working is noted. I looked at that on your last report but really could not find any error. The problem might just be from your end though as I have never had this complaint from anyone else.

Have a blessed day and continue to enjoy the week.

  2. Hi Jaco, and a warm welcome to Yvonne’s place 🙂

Wonderful indeed to see you here as part of the blog now, which means we’d be reading more from you on this blog as well.

You know it gives me immense pleasure to just know that the ABC has been a meeting place for you all and so many others. So glad to see such wonderful friendships develop over time. You have a lovely family Jaco. God bless both of you, and we’d love going through your posts as well (of course once I am back to the blogosphere after a little break!)

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead, both of you 🙂

    • Hi Harleena,

Thank you and yes, indeed you’ll see more of me here as well.

I am also grateful to you for creating a platform such as the ABC community. As you rightly say, it is a meeting place where many great friendships are formed. That is indeed where I’ve been pesented with the opportunity to get introduced to Yvonne and her powerful online ministry. Thank you for all your hard work and commitment to make all this possible and also for your kind words about my family. I am really proud of them.

Enjoy the break and have a great week.

  3. Welcome back my dear friend Yvonne. You’ve been absent and your return is such a blessed one, with the introduction of Jaco.

I never heard of him before. I used to be a constant reader on Harleena’s ABC until a few months ago when I started being very busy with my products and offline activities.

Now, Jaco, it’s such a wonderful thing to know and connect with you. Yvonne is a friend whose friends are wonderful. I know we have a lot of better things ahead.

I LOVE your mission Jaco. If we base our conclusions on what the Bible declares, then a lot of troubles will be avoided. Most of us read the Word of God but once we face challenges, we react based on environmental influences and not on the foundation of the living Word.

I pray God will fully equip you in your mission. Remember, he calls and equips for the mission.

Better days are ahead so you both, have a wonderful weekend

    • Hi Enstine:

So nice of you to take time away from your busy schedule and to show your love and support to Jaco and I. It means a lot to me and I am certain Jaco shares that same sentiment.

You made a powerful statement there and you are perfectly right that if we base our decisions on biblical principles then a lot of troubles will be evaded. The word is what gives us a good spiritual foundation in life and as long as we stand on it, no need to allow circumstances or the negative influences to rule our emotions. If God be who He says He is, then He will honor His word and come through for us.

Thanks Enstine. You have been a great source of encouragement and support. I appreciate you. God bless you and your family. Have a great weekend. 🙂

    • Hi Enstine,

Thank you so much for your kind words and making me feel welcome! As Yvonne also says, I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule and showing your support.

Thank you for showing support of my mission. It is so true what you say, many of us read the Word, or even hear the spoken Word in a message and get all excited and determined, but as soon as the real challenges come, our response is according to what we see in the world, not the Word (which is exactly what Jesus was talking about in Matthew 13).

The enemy is an expert in using the Word, but just twisting it in such a subtle way, that when we listen to what people say, and our foundation is not anchored in the Word, it is very easy to get confused. There is only one way to solve this problem. We need to know what the Word says, and have the courage to stand on it in faith. That is why I am so grateful for the grace of God, that today – while having the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit – we even have the WRITTEN WORD, and we can refer to it for confirmation at any time to know what the thruth is.

I look forward to getting to know you better, Enstine. God bless you and your family.

      Have a great weekend,

      Jaco.

  4. Hi Yvonne,

Thank you so much for such a wonderful introduction and for giving me the opportunity! I really look forward to contributing to your site. I am also looking forward to meet and interact with all the people in your blogging community! I am excited about being here.

    God bless you.

    Jaco.

    • Hi Jaco:

So great to have you on board. Bursting with excitement because I believe that a great work is going to be done through your ministry. Like I always say just “be yourself” God will send the persons who need to hear the words of hope and encouragement.

God bless you. Enjoy the weekend.

      • Hi Yvonne,

Amen and Amen! I share in your excitement and trust God for the breakthrough. All the glory to Him. As you say, God will provide.

        have a blessed weekend.

        Jaco.
