8 Bible Quotes Giving Assurance God Goes Before You

It is quite natural for parents, especially mothers, to be very protective of our children. As babies, we are there every step of the way to protect them from falling, from taking missteps and even picking them up when they do fall. That natural mother’s instinct never leave us and even when our children are grown, our eyes continue to travel down that path with the honest intention of making sure no harm comes to them.

I do that a lot with my children and grandchildren through my daily prayers for them. My eyes in the spirit realm goes before them. There have been occasions where I have said to them, ‘I have been on that road before, and I don’t want you going down that same path.’

Our Heavenly Father is the same way with us His children. He wants what is best for us and no matter where we go or what we do, He is always ahead of us. He fights our battles so the enemy won’t triumph over us. He makes crooked places straight so that by the time we get there, the path is already cleared so our journey can be safe.

Recently, I had an experience that left me crying out to my Heavenly Father. Of course fear tried to creep in. But the voice of the Lord prevailed and that is when He gave me His assurance once again. I was reminded that the victory is the Lord’s and that nothing happens unless God allows it. We just need to be more trusting of Him that He has already gone before us to make the path clear.
