15 Verses on What The Bible Says About All Things Are Possible

Approximately one week ago, I was feeling so overwhelmed by the cares and stresses of life. I felt that I had more than my share! It was one thing after another, some of which caused me to spue negative emotions towards persons that I care most about.

But now I see how the stress was a major form of distraction that was sent my way to test my faith in God once again, and the big fat lie the enemy wanted me to believe that God gives us more than our share or more than we can bear.

So today on Empowerment Moments, I bring to you the evidence of truth that God never gives us more than our share and that all things are possible with Him when we faith in Him.

A major aspect of that faith is trust: to trust God that nothing is impossible with Him; that He will take care of all that we cannot; and to trust God in His wisdom that He will bring us all to salvation.

Here then are —Bible verses that I hope you will find invaluable on life’s journey for truth and what God’s word says about all things are possible

1.)  But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” ~ Matthew 19:26 ESV

2.)  For nothing will be impossible with God. ~ Luke 1:37

3.)  I can do all things through him who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13

4.)  Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” ~ Mark 10:27 ESV

5.)  He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you.” ~ Matthew 17:20 ESV

6.)  And the LORD said, Behold, the people [is] one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. ~ Genesis 11:6 KJV

7.)  I know that thou canst do every [thing], and [that] no thought can be withholden from thee. ~ Job 42:2 KJV

8.)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~ John 3:16 KJV

9.)  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them]. ~ Mark 11:24 KJV

10.) Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. ~ Isaiah 41:10 KJV

11.) Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee: ~ Jeremiah 32:17 KJV

12.) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? ~ Romans 8:31 ESV

13.) In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. ~ Proverbs 3:6

14.) No temptation has overtaken you that is not comman to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. ~ 1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV

15.) Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me? ~ Jeremiah 32:27 ESV

  1. Great post! Practical and powerful. Just the way His Word is always meant to be! Another of my favorite verses to remember when doubt begins to creep in is Jeremiah 55:11 which tells us His Word will not return void. It will go out and accomplish the purposes for which He sent it out. It’s not our job to make the Word work. It’s our job to get in there; and He will do the mighty things which only He can!! 💕🙌🏻 Thanks for this refresher. 👍🏼

I just want to say thank you for putting this together. It has formed my prayer line to God this weekend. I need His intervention at Canadian embassy so that I and my son can obtain our visas for study this week even though the visa status reads that they have dispatched our passports back to us. If they are not approved let Almighty God find a way to get them approved. There is nothing impossible with him Mathew 19:26, and there is nothing too difficult for him to do Jeremiah 32:17. This is my petition and my confession and my faith. Thank you for your help

Divive appointment to find your blog, going through a legal situation, against my deceased brothers estate for money taken by him, that belongs to my sister and I,and a stolen family heirloom, I have spent what amounts to a fortune to me on an attorney, the son of my brother has stalled the case, refuses to take an oath as the personal representative so the case can move, now have to find someone to be over the estate. My attorney says get a representative or dismiss the case. That would have me losing thousands of dollars and the money stolen and due myself, and my sister. After reading, the scriptures ,nothing is impossible with the Lord, and I must have faith. He is a just judge.God Bless you

  5. The Word of The Lord has come to all people. All flesh hear it and deal with it. Some ignore it, some play with it for a while and then fall away, some are distracted from it by worldly cares — but some hear it, “get it” and rebalance their lives so it becomes the most important thing. It is the most important thing, because it is alive with The Holy Spirit Who makes all things possible.

I’ve been holding on to God concerning His promise for me and seeing these wonderful scriptures reminds me of His ability to perform that which He has promised. He never fails, He sure can do all things.

    • Hi Eviana

  13. Good day, this is an excellent message I must say. Ma I sent an email to your gmail. Please, can you reply. God bless you for the great work you are doing.

  14. Our family recently adopted six children. Our finances have been so tight and the enemy tries to discourage us as we are learning to meet everyone needs. Emotionally it has been a huge time commitment and dad has worked less hours which makes things very tight. Could use some prayers.

  15. I’m happy that people focus on Jesus. I am also studying what reads in the original language text, so as to know more specific what the writers were inspired to write down from God. I looked at several of the texts you put down here, to see what’s exactly reads, (and watch out for the use of words, the way of thought that is different in Hebrew and Aramaic). The way Paul told in Aramaic reads exactly as follows in Philippians:
“…and in everything I am also trained in fullness, also in hunger; in excess and in need,
so that I am empowered for all things in Christ who strengthens me.” Phil 4:12b-13
Jeremiah has a rich language, and the traditional reading differs from the original text, and when one reads the original text one has to ask God to lead into understanding, instead of relying on a translation that puts in words that doesn’t even exist in the original:
Alas! My Lord Yahweh. See! You, You made (do) the heavens and earth, You, the great in power, and in your (the one) outstretched arm. Nothing is too marvelous for You! Jer 32:17
“Behold! I Yahweh, God of all flesh. Is anything marvelous for me? “Jer 32:27
“I know that You are able of all things, and he shall not be debarred from Your plan.” Job 42:2
Eshu (Yeshua/Jesus) gazed at them and he said to them,
‘This is impossible with the sons of men,
but everything is possible with God.” Matt 19:26
“Because not anything is impossible for God.” Luke 1:37
Eshu (Yeshua/Jesus) said to them, “Because of your unbelief,
for amin (amen), I say to you, that if you had faith like a grain of mustard seed,
you may say to this mountain, ‘Move from here’, and it will move,
and nothing will be difficult for you” Matt 17:20
Thanks for the word, and bless you all with all the richness of God’s knowledge by His Spirit. Amin (Amen).

  17. I truly was touched by reading the comments and veiws that people were going through in life made me more encouraged. I have been going through so much on my life financially, trying to find a good man, and wanting happiness in my life. In 2014 in December i was diagnosed with colon cancer and through pray god healed me that they caught it in time for it to be treated god healed me! I did not need chemotherapy or radiation done i just went through a major surgery that god healed me through. Since then I’ve been praying for other things to complete my life. I see other people around me happy and i pray for the same comfort in life. But i know god lead me to this site to read these situations that other people have been through and trusting in god word having faith and believing it’s already done. I know that it will happen on God’s time because he is a on time god yes he is! Thank You and be blessed

  18. Thanks for this. I was working on a posting of my own using Matthew 17:20 and the Google sear for the verse lead me here. 😊

  19. I just read this, I love the Lord and deal with progressive MS that takes me down and a special needs adult son who has schiosaffective. Thank you for the encouragement. Hugs

  20. Nothing is impossible to God if you only believe, and I believe so take all your buddens to Him.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I needed boost for l was down. I bless God for using you to speak to me.

  25. I needed to hear this today Yvonne. I have been battered with a failed marriage and failed twice an exam that will let me have my financial independence. I worked hard, really hard, I prayed and I trusted God and feel very discouraged and almost giving up but you have assured me that nothing shall be impossible with God. Thank you.

    • Thanks be to God for His saving grace. I welcome you to my blog while I assure you that ALL things are possible with God. Believe and hold fast the profession of your faith and leave the rest to HIM.

I have failed at many things in life, marriage being among them but I refuse to give up hope. It is the one thing that never cause us to feel ashamed. God knows our needs and in His time He will meet each one.

Trust Him, never doubt and continue to stand on His word. Victory is near. God bless you and I speak favour in abundance over your life.

      • I was just reading the post about the lady with the failed marriage and the failure of a test that would give her financial freedom and could not believe how awesome GOD is to lead me to read her post and Yvonne’s on this site! I too am going through it and can relate to both of your struggles. I am currently sitting for “the bar” again and it occurred to me this experience is different then the last. I didn’t realize it was about way more than passing the test…I was “capable” but it had to do more with giving GOD the glory and the spiritual journey that resulted because of my failures. You see I had always succeeded in the past but law school threw me for a loop and that test??? There are no words BUT GOD had to show me that me being capable in the past was because of “his” Grace not my apptitude. Quite simply had I passed I would not have had the correct attitude and he knew this painful truth that it took me a while to get and I’m STILL learning! I have not passed the test but will take it in just less than 4 weeks time…and I’d be lying if I said it was not important, however, this time it will be him not me taking it…and if he wills it now it will be so. I know all things are possible and know in my heart IT WILL come to pass but now I know it will happen in “his time”…not mine!! Please be encouraged and know you will get through it. Just as I will. I don’t know you but you will be in my prayers.

  26. I’m so glad I was lead to this site. I’m in a season where something was spoken in my life. I stepped out on faith to begin the journey (it wasn’t just going to fall into my lap right?) I told a family member and immediately negativity came through the response. I am determined to see this through with my faith and trust in God. With man it is very much impossible, but, with God it is not. I went and looked up scriptures to the word that spoken over my life. God gave me Habakkuk 1:5. Along with Matthew 17:20 and other scriptures I found. All I can say is thank you Lord, use me as an example to show others Your magnificent, miraculous power, so that if they see my love for God and what He’s doing in my life. They’ll want to give their lives to God as well.

I’ve read another article here and I’m already in love with your empowerment blogs and will share your blog on my Facebook page. I thank God for you & pray He will continue you, strengthen you, and empower you to continue ministering to others.

    • Hi Freda

Welcome to my blog, it is so good to have you. 🙂 Let this post and scriptures serve as confirmation of what He is about to do in your life.

One of the things I have always said is that God never make mistakes. He gives you a word and with your faith you must stand on His word and in due season He will bring it to pass. Nothing is impossible with Him. Powerful scriptures indeed. Keep on trusting and believing Him. He will never fail you.

God bless you. Have a great week ahead. 🙂

  27. Hi Yvonne

Glad that you have been blessed and inspired by these bible verses. Sometimes I have to revert back to things I’ve shared on my blog to encourage me. This is just one of them.

      Have a blessed week. 🙂

  28. I love this list! I’ve printed out and pinned it up to remind me to stop limiting what God can do in my life. I need to trust that He can and will do anything, not just what I hope He can do. Thank you Yvonne 🙂

    • Hi Carolyn
So good to have you stop by. It’s a phase I believe that we all go through in life where moments of doubt comes our way and not only do we limit ourselves but God also as you pointed out. Then it just amazes me how He direct our steps to encourage and remind us of the need to trust Him who has full control of everything there is. Blessings! Enjoy the rest of the week.

  29. I am not a christian, and I never read The Bible.
This article provided me a gist of Bible with some informative quotes.
Loves them, I hope everybody practice whatever said in their respective holy books (with human judgement).

    • Hi Sadak

It is my pleasure to welcome you to my blog. I am happy to hear that you love the quotes and found them informative. Be encouraged by His love for you. This is a great start in the right direction as you have indicated you had never read the Bible.

Have a great day! Cheers! 🙂

  30. My favourite when it comes to being down is this; ‘I can do all things through HIM(CHRIST) who strengthens me.’

    • Hi Emmanuel, I am happy to have you with us – your presence and also your comment means a lot. Great minds do think alike because this is also one of my favorite verses.

You think it, you believe it and definitely through Him, you can do it. Have a blessed day! Cheers 🙂

  31. Thank you for this inspirational post! 🙂 Nothing is impossible for Him!!!

    • Hi Rondita it is such a blessing to have you stop by. Thank you. I am glad you were inspired by the post. We must continue to believe and to bear witness to others that God can do ALL things except fail. You are welcome to come again. Blessings! 🙂
      Yvonne

  32. This is so true, nothing is impossible with God. To him all things are possible. I totally understand about carrying on the stresses of the world, but the list you have here is an awesome reminder to us during these stressful times. Some times we just have put it in God’s hands!

    • Oh definitely Kalley! Stress get to the best of us but God wants us to trust Him completely and show us in the end that all things will work out for our good and for His glory!
