When Your Impossible Suddenly Become Your Long Awaited Miracle

“With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” ~ Mark 10:27 ESV

What do you believe God for right this moment? What’s holding back your breakthrough?

Are you in need of a miracle in your life? Are you feeling like your back is up against the wall because of all the stress and cares of this life?

Perhaps you are feeling like you have done all that is humanly possible and there is nothing left that you can do within your scope.

Financial troubles, loss of job hence your income, broken marriage, relationship torn apart, legal woes, health issues, and food cupboard is empty – these are at the top of many persons list of what they are facing today.

Without even second guessing myself, unashamedly yes, I am badly in need of a miracle from God.

YES, it feels as though my back is up against the wall. Is it a hopeless situation? NO it is not but the truth is I feel helpless.

And who of you like being in that position where you can do nothing to help yourself? You suddenly realize your ‘nothingness,’ and if God [who can make something out of you] do not come through with a miracle, you are forever lost and you become just another statistic.

At That Place Again?

I laid there in the darkness of the night. The only sounds I could hear were those of my room ventilation unit and my breathing sounds.

Not sure exactly what time my first breath of consciousness kicked in, except that the minutes then turned into hours.

The birds in the trees outside my bedroom window began to clap and shout for joy with their loud tweeting sounds. No doubt they were ‘praising’ their Creator.

One would think the right thing for me to have done was to get into worship and seek the face of God especially that I could not fall back to sleep.

your long awaited miracle

Instead, the cares of my life began to weigh me down. Faith began to slip away while fear and doubt slowly crept in.

That’s how the enemy works! He doesn’t play fair. He comes in to kill, steal and to destroy. It seemed he was getting the upper hand with me and I would go down for the count in defeat.

But just when I thought he had it all, God showed up in my defense!

He said, ‘give this to me, I will take it from here. You will know for certain with God all things are possible when your impossible suddenly become your long awaited miracle.’

Angels Encamp Around Them That Fear the Lord

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.” ~ Psalm 34:7 NIV

This verse is a true reminder of the love, care and protection that we have from God and that He will never allow His children to be defeated at the hands of the enemy.

It is natural for us to become afraid when things reach the point where they are totally out of our control.

And as God’s children we may even get knocked down or blind sided by our circumstances, but as long as we put our trust in God the curve balls that life throws at us can never knock us out of winning the race that is set before us.

The woman with her issue of blood [problems, fears, rejection, financial and relationship problems] pushed her way through because she was determined to get her miracle from Jesus that day by a simple touch of the hem of His garment. (Luke 8:43-48)

Blind Bartimaeus who sat by the roadside begging for years received his miracle through his desperate cry unto the Lord. Many of course rebuked him and told him to be quiet but he cried out the more, “Lord I want to see.” (Mark 10:46-52) He received his sight!

So a positive step in the right direction is to surrender all the fears and weight of heaviness to God. He is right there ready, willing and able to see you through.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING ABOUT MIRACLES IS THAT THEY HAPPEN.

    Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for the article its inspiring.

I got a scholarship recently and I’m in the process of applying for visa. Part of the visa requirement is tuberculosis screening. I went for the screening but it was inconclusive and they told me I will need to submit a sputum with the result to be released after 9 weeks and I only have 4 weeks to the start of my course without extension. Please pray along with me. Its tough, I cry daily because I can’t afford to miss it.

    • Hi Oluwatobi

      Welcome to my blog. 🙂

Thanks for reaching out, moreover for your bravery to share your story. Be encouraged, God is still in the business of working miracles. Whose report will you believe? Believe the report of the Lord that you are healed according to Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

God did not give you the spirit to fear but of power, love and a sound and confident mind. I decree and declare in the name of Jesus that your body is free of any tuberculosis and that your results will come back negative. I speak the favor of God upon you that your visa will be granted amen!

      God bless you

    Hi Yvonne,

I have been going through alot lately and trying to keep my head up and staying prayerful as well. My walk with Christ has been a battle lately because the more I read and the more I push forward to stay close to God the more the enemy attacks. First he tried using my kids against me I fast and prayed on that and he didn’t succeed and now he has attacked my finances and health so bad it’s hard for me to catch up on anything and I’m trying so hard.

    • Hi Carla

Welcome to my blog and I thank God for giving you the courage to share in this open forum what you are going through at this time. I admire and appreciate you for your strength.

I stir up your mustard seed faith in Jesus name and pray that your faith never fail. May you have faith to believe that your battle has already been won and you have the victory! Faith to believe that your outcome in this situation and the days that are ahead of you are far better than what you have been through in the past. How do we know that? Jeremiah 29:11 has the answer. “For I know the plan I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I speak restoration and healing now over you. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard you and keep your heart in Christ. You will overcome – by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Stand still and see the salvation of God on your behalf.

Do not waiver, and do not doubt! God is a promise and a covenant keeper. Your finances are blessed. Your bank account is blessed and shall show a surplus and not a deficit in Jesus name. May God multiply and give you increase in every area of your life. We thank Him in advance for your break through as He give you the strength to persevere.

God bless you and should you need prayer or further encouragement, feel free to email me directly at empowermentmoments@gmail.com

  4. Hi Yvonne,

Thank you for this post. I can really associate with what you are saying. I’ve been unemployed for quite some time after the company I worked for had to close down due to bad economy.

Over the last couple of months I’ve been led to connect with various people online, which (unintentionally) ended up in a small part time writing contract. Besides that, it seems as if I am standing at the edge of a major breakthrough. But looking at it from a natural point of view, I have no idea of what to expect. I have been searching for my true purpose in life for many years and it has been a long time prayer of mine about how God wants me to serve Him. Now that I am facing reality, everything seems to be so overwhelming and challenging. There is no way for me to handle this in my own power, unless God provides a miracle.

I cannot help to think back about a story I’ve heard about a man who went to see a preacher, complaining about a very challenging time that he was going through. The preacher’s response to this was; “Praise the Lord!” Surprised at this response he asked the preacher whether he didn’t understand what he just told him about this challenging time he was going through. Again the preacher responded with “Praise the Lord”, and then suggested to the man to listen to himself….. the whole time he was talking about how he was going THROUGH this situation. He was not stuck in that situation.

As you have referred to the scritpures in the Bible, nothing is impossible with God. Thank you for this post Yvonne, not only have you given me the courage to face whatever lies ahead of me, but also renewed faith, reminding me that God is in control.

    Have a blessed day.

    • Hi Jaco

It’s a pleasure having you here once more. I appreciate you sharing your testimony and I know someone else will read it and be blessed by it.

I am happy also that the post was a source of encouragement to you and it has given you courage to face what lies ahead of you. I will tell you this much that what is ahead of you is far better than what’s behind you or even what you are facing today.

There is light at the end of the tunnel and a colorful rainbow stretched out across the shy. Each color is a representation of hopes, dreams, blessings and favor that awaits you. Have the faith to believe it. Your unemployment situation will end sooner rather than later.

We go THROUGH situations, we are not stuck in them. Psalm 23 has resonated with me even now – we have got to be like David and declare, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley [be it unemployment, sickness, affliction, persecution, marital problems etc] I will fear no evil, for you [God] are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” v4

God is certainly in control and with that said, I too will declare ahead of time, “Praise the Lord!” Look what miracle the Lord has done!!

God bless you my friend. Have a great day and enjoy the upcoming weekend.

  5. Hi Yvonne,

    Lovely post, as always 🙂

Yes, tough times are a part of all our lives, and we tend to curse at such time or talk ill as to why such things happen to us, not realizing there are so many who are worse off than us.

I guess we fail to understand that these are all kind of tests given by Him, and it is by keeping the faith we move ahead each day, unharmed. We wait for miracles and they do happen, only if we believe.

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

    • Hi Harleena

Happy to see you. I could not agree with you more – there is a quote by the late Dr. Schuller that says, “tough times never last, but tough people do” which tend to fit in nicely with what you’ve said.

Millions of people around the world are suffering and when compared to the suffering of others, is far greater. It’s just that when we are going through our test of faith and our trials, we don’t remember that and instead of being fussy about what we are going through, give thanks.

Thanks for that gentle reminder that once we keep the faith in our trials we move right along unharmed.

Have an enjoyable rest of the week

  6. Hi Yvonne

You are blessed. Just recently our nation went through one the greatest hardship. As a result of the Fuel Scarcity, people are suffering and in pain. People’s faith in God is slipping and they questioning asking why the evil prevails in the Land.

Your message is that of hope and you are right that the Angel is with us. I wish people could read this. So I am sharing it for others to see. Thanks for sharing. Have a swell week.

    • Hi Ikechi

I appreciate you stopping by. Sorry to hear about what is happening in your country and with your fellow citizens.

As Christians our faith will always be put through the test. These things are intended to make us stronger and more trusting of God, not to destroy us.

The enemy’s strategy is to pounce on the ones who are weak in faith but our prayers for them will do wonders. As Jesus once said to Peter, “Satan desire to sift you as wheat but I prayed for you that your faith fail not.” A scripture I really love because no matter what He has already prayed [past tense] for us.

May God bless grant favor and victory to your nation. Thanks for sharing.and enjoy the rest of the week.
