The blessings that God have in store for you do not always come when you go in the opposite direction of the windstorm that is blowing your way. Additionally, the favors of God do not always come when you remain in a secret place hiding from your enemies. God’s strength is made perfect in you only when you face your storms or you confront your enemies.
It is believing that when your ways please God, He will make your enemies to be at peace with you and the hand of God can now open heaven and pour you out blessings that you do not have room enough to contain.
The Bible says, “And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.” – 1 Kings 18:1 KJV
Elijah experienced the favor of God and blessings after he went down into the enemy’s camp. It required his obedience to go to the one who had colluded with Jezebel to kill the prophets of God. As you face this day, remember it is not the size of your storm or the size of the giant standing before you, it is the power and sovereignty of the God in whom you believe!
