A Life Filled With Gratitude
The dictionary defines gratitude as ‘the quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful.‘ Other words that are synonymous with gratitude are ‘thanks, thankfulness, appreciation, gratefulness.‘
Melodie Beattie describes gratitude as this: “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity. It can trun a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Living a life of gratitude is a choice that is worth making. I’ve made that choice to not just focus on the big things/events to be grateful for, but in everything. Give thanks unto the Lord for He is good, His mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations. Give thanks for it is the will of God.
On that note, I give thanks to you all my loyal readers who have followed me through this blog and my other social media websites. I am thankful for the many friends near and far that this venture has resulted in and promise to deliver more value in the upcoming months/years. This blog celebrates its 2nd full year tomorrow January 2nd, 2014 and hope that you join me as I share all of what God has done through this website.
