Baby Prince George Christened, Surrounded By His Parents And A Perfect Number Of 7 Godparents
The world was able to see Prince George in public for the first time in three months as he arrived to be christened today. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, baptized Price George, supported by the Dean of The Chapel Royal, the Rt Rev Richard Chartres, and the Sub-Dean of The Chapel Royal, the Rev Prebendary William Scott.
The occasion was kept small, while the ceremony was described as ‘an intimate affair.’ Along with the few invited guests, there to mark the occasion with Prince George and his proud parents Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge were five senior royals, [the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince Harry] Prince William’s cousin, Zara Tindall and six friends of both parents completes the perfect number of seven godparents.
