14 Verses On God’s Promises

John 14 v 27

Are you standing on the promises of God? Is He your all in all? I am sure He is! Today I want to further encourage you and bring to you these wonderful promises found in the word of God, the Bible. Among the many things, God’s word is powerful, transforming and life changing. Be sure to read through these verses slowly, meditate on them and by faith experience the power of God working in and through your life.

 

2 Peter 1:4 (NLT) – And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desire.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) – For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Isaiah 40:29-31 (NLT) He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young man will fall in exhaustion. Psalm 34:18 (KJV) – The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Psalm 84:11 (ESV) – For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Philippians 4:19 (ESV) – And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus

John 10:10 (NLT) – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Hebrews 4:16 (ESV) – Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Isaiah 43:19 (KJV) – Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
