Don’t Talk To Me!
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matthew 11:12) At whose hands does the kingdom of heaven suffer violence? How much longer will the kingdom anointed warriors stand by and allow violence, death and destruction to come upon our land and plague our lives? From whence did ‘it’ came? Who is the mastermind behind it? From time to time there is this thing called fear that raises its ugly head and masquerades itself around as an angel of light, when deep beneath the surface, its ulterior motive is to inflict pain, suffering, uneasiness and discomfort among the people of God.
It comes in many different ways, shapes and forms. It can come through a family member, a friend, a co-worker, your boss at work, a place, a thing, but above all it comes through people who for whatever reason, perhaps because of their insecurity, or lack of understanding in part or whole of your purpose in God, refuse to come in agreement with God’s word, His mind, His thoughts, and plans for your lives. Just when you thought that you have done all you can through prayer and all the other weaponry that God has equipped us with through His word to paralyse it, to forcefully eject its power, thereby rendering it powerless and defeated, it comes right back at you again in another way.
But what I want you to know is that fear is not a necessary part of your life nor my life. It never was, and never will be! It has absolutely nothing to do with your purpose and neither does it have anything to do with your destiny, for fear brings torment. God Himself has declared it to be an illegal entity here on this earth. Just for our confirmation, the word of the Lord declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit to fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
So from this moment on, I would like to think or rather say, “enough is enough!” I stand with boldness and confidence in God and with my head held high, my shoulders tall and squared, and I say to fear, “Get out of my way, you are behind me, don’t talk to me!” “I loosen your nuts, bolts, screws and whatever else was sustaining you and giving you power to operate and I quicken the Spirit of God within us the people of God to rise up in faith against you which is a believers’ weapon of mass destruction against you fear.” “I declare that we have the mind of Christ and that God’s perfect love in us as believers cast out all fear.”
To every believer and even to them will hear the word of the Lord and believe right now, be encouraged in His word today and always. Never fear, but trust in God and in the power of His might. God goes before us always. He is with us always. He will never fail to protect us and neither will He forsake us. When we come upon dangerous situations and circumstances, it is there the Lord will show up and show forth to demonstrate His power on our behalf to destroy Pharoah’s army, his chariots and his horses that rose up against us. When we go through fiery trials of affliction, we shall not be burned, injured or harmed, and neither shall any trace or effect of the trial or affliction be found upon us! (Isaiah 43:2)
The Lord is our help and our defence. He gives us His peace and His peace is not the conditional, circumstantial peace of this world, but God’s peace is the true, inner peace and His comfort. He is our light and our salvation, so whom shall we fear? Of whom shall we be afraid? (Psalm 27:1) It is time that we take a stand! It is not by might, not by power but by the Spirit of the Lord, we can rise up and tell fear, “shut up, don’t talk to me!” “See me, but don’t talk to me!”
True Chris and that is where faith comes that it must be the dominant factor in our life.. It is the perfect antidote for fear. Blessings and have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.
In my last comment, Yvonne I talked about following our own path, about pursuing what we wanted to do at the expense of what others wanted for us.
I FULLY understand the reason for the other opinions. Their opinions for us arise from fear.
Fear of seeing us fail.
If we can overcome our own fear
If we can know that God has our interest at heart
all will be well
all will turn out as we want.

Very well spoken Pastor Ava! I endorse every word you have said! Blessings and have a great day.
Fear is a green-eyed-monster assigned to attempt to cause anyone to believe a lie from the pits of hell's territory. In order for the enemy to be able to carry out his acts he must first cause his prey to believe him. He seduces, and the effects of the seduction brings the realization of a lie to take the place of the truth. BUT…when we know the TRUTH and believe the TRUTH we hold on to this TRUTH that… greater is HE that is in us (the believers) than he that is in the world. This brings true boldness with power and fresh annointing which destroys the yoke of fear and bondage. Whom the Son has set free is free indeed….from fear and the grips of hell. Today we rise up with power from on high knowing that the joy of the Lord is our strength….shut up devil, don't talk to me! because as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, as Ambassador of Christ, as a Holy Ghost filled, fire baptized believer in Christ I have power over you. AMEN!!!
