Prayer That Brings Hope and Encouragement

Dear God of heaven, earth, sea and sky – the Creator of all things visible and invisible, the final disposer of all things whether God made or man made. You are the life-line that we cling to today. We live, breathe, move and have our being in you – and without you we can do nothing. Your word declares we are to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer and so we come to your as believers of your word that all things will work together for good to them that love you and are called according to your purpose. For those who do not yet believe, because of not knowing how to be joyful and patient in their pain and suffering, Lord may you give clarity, wisdom, understanding and the desire to draw closer into your presence where there is fullness of joy and pleasures at your right hand forever more. We will not walk in fear and discouragement, because your word says you are with us, that you will be our strength, our help and you will uphold us in your right hand of righteousness. When the spirit of heaviness (discouragement, despair or depression) comes upon us, we will put on the garment of praise, bless you, give you worship and praise in Jesus name, amen. scrip.ref.
