Prayer – Let It Rain

Dear Lord you are most high. You are royalty. Your sovereignty is one which cannot be contested and neither can you be impeached. There is no re-election for your office and your government remains forever more right into eternity. You are God all by yourself. From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, your name is worthy to be praised. From you all our help comes – so we come to your throne of grace and mercy this day that you may fill to overflowing with your blessings the cup we hold high up to you. Do wonders in the earth in and through us, not by power, nor by might but by your Spirit.

Grant unto us the unction to function so that we may do great exploits according to your word. Where there is loneliness and perplexity, give comfort, peace and clarity. Enlarge the picture of the dreams and visions you have given to us for our future and destroy the negatives of the past from our thought pattern. Let the light of your word penetrate through every dark areas and cause the shifting of favour to take effect with the evidence of signs, miracles and wonders. Let the drought season in our lives cease and cause the rain of your presence to fall upon us now that we may spring forth with your fullness of joy, pleasures at your right hand, laughter and hope in you, in Jesus name, amen!
