No doubt these are inspiring. But Confucius-isms? This one in particular raises some doubts … ”You don’t love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear. -Confucius. Not sure they had fancy cars in 551-479 BC.

  2. It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop..Confucius… Like the Bible says….the race is not for the swift but for those that endure to the end……Confucius was right on target.. Great quotes!!!

  3. Hi Yvonne,

You know how much I love quotes and must have them in ALL my posts, so this one surely is bookmarked 🙂

I never knew so many things about Confucius, so it was a nice write up telling us a little about his background and his lessons too. Such are the great masters we all need to learn from. It’s tough for me to pin-point just one or two quotes because they are all so wonderful in their deep meaning.

Thanks for sharing them with us. Have a nice weekend 🙂

    • Hi Harleena

I am smiling 🙂 because yes I have figured that one out already about how much you love quotes.

Prior to writing this post though I really didn’t know anything about Confucius other than coming across a random quote here and there. I thought if I am going to write up a selection of his quotes then it’s important to know about him. I was amazed by what I learned.

Such a good role model. If more people will walk in the footsteps of great masters like him, the world will be a more beautiful place to live in. Don’t you think? 🙂

Your presence here always make such a huge difference. Have a great day. Looking forward to the upcoming week. Praying it’s a fulfilling and rewarding one for you. 🙂

“You can not open a book without learning something” this is my favorite one. Nobody can do better without learning.

Waiting to see more on future. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi Nisha,

I am happy to hear that the selection of quotes made an impact on you, especially the ones you have identified.

#5 is definitely impressive! I recalled that we spoke recently about the importance of reading a lot if we hope to be good, even greater writers. Then here is this quote from Confucius telling us that there is no way one can open a book and not learn something from what s/he just read.

Awesome! Thanks for your participation in EMB’s community. Much appreciated. Have a great day and upcoming week. 🙂
