You Are Destined To Overcome

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God,  and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…..” (Revelation 12:10-11)

All too often the trials and testing that you go through in life can overwhelm you and bring you to a point where you feel ‘small’ and weak, like all your strength is gone. You may look to the left and then to the right and can find no one to help you. You may even find yourself speechless, because it is almost as if you have prayed every prayer, sang every song and having done all that, God’s response seems slow at a time when you most need it to come speedily.

But through the words of Isaiah He [God] gives these comforting words, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Behold all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing: and they that strive with thee shall perish.” (Isaiah 41:10-11)

We cannot see Him, but He is right there. He has given to every believer the power over the enemy, the power to tread upon demons, scorpions and every power of darkness. At times we may take up deadly serpents and may even swallow deadly things, but according to the word of God in the gospel according to Mark 16:18, they shall not harm us. Fear has no more dominion over us. We have been perfected in His love and it is that perfect love that cast out all fear. [1 John 4:18] Let faith arise today! 

There is no need to walk around feeling helpless and defeated, just know that you are destined to overcome and you shall have great success. It was Winston Churchill who once said these words, “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” You cannot give up now! God uses our past failures as the building blocks and the stepping stones to propel us into our future that is bright and filled with hope of the many wonderful things that He has in store for each one of us. 

Owning up to the fact that you have made mistakes along the way is not a sign of weakness, rather it is an indication that you have integrity and good character. Our past experiences may have brought us great pain then, but today we can definitely say that experience has become our greatest teacher and the lessons that life has taught us, they are priceless.

Never give up hope, never fear, only you must trust and obey. You are pregnant with potential! Your dream will not die! You are destined for greatness, so begin to tap into, unlock and then release the God-given potential that is in you! You are destined to overcome every obstacles you’ve had, and every set backs! By faith begin to activate the gifts that are in you that have been dormant for years, perhaps even decades.

Begin to live life in the ‘above and beyond realm’ with the knowledge and the power that’s in the word of God that we are the accepted and the beloved of God who are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Ephesians 1:6; 2:6] See yourself daily dwelling in the secret place of the most high and abiding under the shadow of the Almighty God. [Psalm 91:1] 

He is not caught off guard or taken by surprise by your ‘now’ circumstances. What you are experiencing are contractions (labour pains) of what God is about to birth through you. And just like how the wicked one (accuser) was cast down after trying to make war in heaven with the woman who was pregnant and about to give birth to her child, so it is God knew before what you would experience. He also knew that you too will overcome the wicked one by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony. 

So  open up your mouth, taste and see that the Lord is good, His truth is everlasting and His mercies endureth forever throughout all generations. Wait it out on the Lord and do not compromise. In spite of it all, God is great and greatly to be praised and adored. See the new you, destined to overcome!
