Positivity, Power And The Potential For Change

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against” (Romans 8:31)

I am sure for many of you as it is for me, this is one of our favourite scriptures in the bible. We have quoted it when things were rough, when the mountains seemed too high to get over and when the valleys were too dark and deep and we just could not seem to find our way through. We have used it as a word weapon against our spiritual enemies with the hope that the army of our adversaries will back up and back away from us.

Whatever the occasion that gave rise to it, we have all used that scripture and have been successful with it. The point is, you are a gem! You are a diamond shining with radiant beauty in the eyes of our Creator. God chose you! Who can dispute that? You have been pre-destined for greatness even before the foundation of the world. God knew you even before you were placed in your mother’s womb. You are justified by faith and so no matter what is flung at you, “we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8: 28
I dare you to rise to the challenge and embrace positivity, power and the potential for change in your life beyond your wildest imaginations! Rise to each and every new day as if it were the first day of a beautiful life beyond what you could have ever hoped for. No one can change their past. Not you, not I. Whatever the events of this current day, you have no control over them. Throw them behind you as a thing of the past as the sun makes its’ final ‘bow,’ descends and is sequestered beyond the deep horizon.
A portion of lyrics from the late Bob Marley says, “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind……” Additionally there is a stanza in the song ‘Before The Throne Of God Above’ by Charitie Bancroft that says:
When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see Him there
Who made an end of all my sin.
Because the sinless Saviour died
My sinful soul is counted free.
For God the just is satisfied
To look on Him to pardon me

Therefore, free up yourself! Flow in your passion! You deserve the best there is in life. Never measure your self esteem by another’s success. He who is in control of his destiny is powerful, but the one who has mastered himself is mightier still. Master your gifts! Your own gifts and talents will make room for you and open the doors for you. All you need to do is walk gracefully through the doors God opens for you, paying homage only to the King of all kings – Jesus Christ.
“…we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency may be of God and not of us.” (2 Corinthians 4:7) The truth is, you’ve always had power and potential right there within you, you just have to learn the art of it for yourself and make a lasting change in your life. Rise from the anguish of the day to exaltation! Power up your thoughts! Revolutionize your mind! Empower yourself and the world around you! And witness the difference it makes!
Peace and Blessings…

  1. Very encouraging! There are times when I do become discouraged and I am faced with situations that wants to remind me of my past, but I always try to remember that God really do not look at our past to determine our future blessings and purpose for Him.
