10 Einstein Quotes and Lessons We Can Learn From Them

We have benefited from the wisdom of great men and women who have gone before us. Their legacy is priceless!

We are encouraged, motivated and inspired by their words that ignite passion within us, no matter how low in spirit or defeated we may feel at any given time.

Doubtless, God granted to them revelation by which they offer divine solutions. The revelations have helped us to solve many problems, especially helping us to see beyond the ‘tunnel vision’ that problems have caused us to fall into. There are many lessons and Godly principles we can learn form them.

One such person who I believe had some divine revelation from God is Albert Einstein which will be illustrated in these quotes from him:-

QUOTES, LIFE LESSONS AND THEIR LINK TO BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES

1.) “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – we must be led and walk by the spirit. The Spirit is God’s gift to us.

2.) “I want to know God’s thoughts. The rest are details.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – Desire God’s revelation and do so with a passion. His ways are by far higher than ours and so are His thoughts.  (Isaiah 55:8-11)

3.) “I never made one of my discoveries through the process of rational thinking.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – creativity comes from the Spirit of God. Just as the Son of God can do nothing of Himself, so it is we can do nothing without the Father. (John 5:19-20, 30)

4.) “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination enriches the world. Imagination is everything.”

Lesson – no amount of knowledge we have will help us to discover the visions of God. Faith is what’s necessary and God’s vision in turn inflame faith. (Gen 15:5-6, 12:1-2 )

5.) “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – live a life of gratitude and give thanks for everything just as though it was a miracle that just took place (1 Thes. 5:16-19)

6.) “It’s not that I am so smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – you don’t have to be smart or be a genius to be able to solve a problem. You just have to focus intently on it until you experience it. (James 1:25)

7.) “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience. ” ~ Einstein

Lesson – the path to true knowledge is through experience. (2 Peter 1:8)

8.) “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – we will be of most value when we employ our gifts in serving others. (1 Peter 4:10)

9.) “Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – we have been given a diversity of gifts that we should employ in the different situations we face each time. Failure to utilise our gifts in the proper manner, can cause us to be looked at by others as insane and even result in us losing them. (Matthew 25:14-30)

10.) “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” ~ Einstein

Lesson – just as no one is perfect, we must learn to take risks and try new things. Do not be afraid. Try something different even if it means walking on water. (Matthew 14:30)
