A Prayer For Our Loved Ones For Salvation

Prayer For Our Loved Ones For Salvation

We are in a very critical time of our life. In spite of all the evil that is taking place around us, the key aspect is you having the confidence that you have come to the knowledge of the truth of the Word of God concerning your salvation. (1 Timothy 2:4)

What about your family members, loved ones, friends and associates though? What is their view of God? What about those perpetrating the evil acts upon innocent lives? What about the leaders who are alleged to have ordered the evil to be committed?

Over this entire weekend, I have spent a number of hours seeking the face of God and consecrating myself afresh in worship before Him. One of the things that the Lord impressed upon my heart is to pray for the salvation of our loved ones. As we remember Jesus’ suffering, death, burial and resurrection, He said it is also the season of grace for them to come to the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for Salvation

Dear God we give unto you all the glory due unto your name, and we bring an offering and sacrifice before you of worship and praise in the beauty of holiness. (1 Chronicles 16:29) Father we declare your majesty and that you are far above all principalities, powers, mights, and dominions. Your name is far above every name that is named, not only in this world but in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:21)

We come before your throne of grace today making intercession for the unsaved ones that they may come to the saving grace and knowledge of your Son Jesus Christ. We pray for their salvation. Help them to know that you are not slack concerning your promises, but that you are longsuffering, merciful and patient towards us all.

Lord we pray you bring them to repentance from dead works, wrongdoing and sin. Help them to understand like those of us that are already saved that they too have redemption through the blood of Christ, and that all their sins, iniquities and transgression have been forgiven and nailed to the cross according to the riches of your grace.

We pray that your light will penetrate the powers of darkness emanating from the deep underworld and that deliverance from every evil entanglement, unholy alliances, ungodly soul ties, pornography, sexual perversion, drugs, alcoholism, gangs, violence, marital infidelity, and rebellion against your word will come to them today.

God we pray for their deliverance from strongholds of the enemy that has perverted and twisted their minds. God we pray for their deliverance from the powers of witchcraft, sorcery, black magic, white magic, hate and from the influence of the occult and every other demonic and diabolical spirits that’s causing them to act contrary to your word.

May your Spirit Lord begin to bear witness with their spirit man that Jesus Christ died for them, that they are children of God through your Spirit of adoption. (Romans 8:16) We acknowledge that no one is saved by works of righteous but according to your mercy God. Lord we pray for the washing of our loved ones by the blood of Jesus Christ, and for regeneration by the renewing of your Holy Spirit in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

“This the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” ~ 1 John 5:14
