3 Strategic Prayers To Pray Concerning Your Finances

While the Bible is clear in 1 Timothy 6:10 (AMP) that “For the love of money [that is, the greedy desire for it and the willingness to gain it unethically] is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.” it is also clearly stated in Ecclesiastes 10:19 (NIV) that “a feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything.”

You and I know the foregoing to be true! Just about everything that we do in our daily lives require some form of financial resources. Yet, we are challenged on so many levels. For many, it is a constant struggle everyday not being able to balance their paycheck against recurrent and other expenditure. It is a feeling of helplessness knowing that some bills are due and you don’t have the finances to meet even the very basic of expenses.

So what is God saying about our financial situation? It is God’s desire to see us get wealth, build it strategically and distribute it in a manner that not only benefits us but advance His Kingdom here on earth. According to Deuteronomy 28:1-4, you are heir to the blessings! Blessings shall come upon you and overtake you! As an heir, blessings and answers manifest everywhere you go in this life.

Why then aren’t you overflowing with wealth and abundance? Why are you living from paycheck to paycheck? How do you unlock your financial blessings and your wealth inheritance? I found out that people’s finances are locked up in generational curses and until and unless those curses are broken, you continue to get temporary breakthrough only for it to be followed by another setback.

Strategic prayer 1

Father God, I stand on unshakable faith through Jesus Christ and upon your word in Psalm 112:1-3 that says because I obey your commands and have a holy reverential fear of you that, “my descendants will be powerful in the land; my generation will be blessed and wealth and riches are in my house.”

Thank you Lord for the manifestation of your word in me and my family’s life and for providing for us exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could have ever asked or think, this according to Ephesians 3:20. Thank you Lord that you have already paved the way forward for us and that as we continue to walk uprightly and we diligently seek you, no good thing will you withhold from us. (Psalm 84:11)

We thank you for the paradigm shift and the transformation that has taken place in our mind and thinking and because of that, we are no more stingy in our giving and we choose to obey your word in regards to tithes, offerings and first fruits. We thank you for rebuking the devourer from our finances, wealth, riches, labels, property rights, copyrights, jobs, relationships and even our children. (Malachi 3:10-12) We trust in your ability to work in and through us for your glory, in Jesus mighty name, amen!

Strategic prayer 2

Father God, I stand on your word in Deuteronomy 8:18 (AMP) that says, “But you shall remember [with profound respect] the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore [solemnly promised] to your fathers, as it is this day.”

I therefore now forcefully eject the spirit of lack and poverty from my bloodline and I release myself from poverty mentality, and the old mindset that riches and wealth was just for a selected few. I open my spirit to receive from you cutting edge technologies, witty ideas, and ground breaking strategies that will convert to wealth and riches. I release my name [insert your name here] into the atmosphere and believe that angels are on assignment to take my name to business CEO’s and Executives who are ready to pay me for those ideas.

I thank you God for better paying jobs, for promotion, and for stirring up the gifts in me that your word declares in Proverbs 18:16 that shall open doors for me and make room for me before great men. I declare from this day forth, the curse of poverty is irretrievably BROKEN and no more will I live from paycheck to paycheck, but that I live in the realm of abundance, riches, wealth and overflow in Jesus name, amen!

Strategic prayer 3

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I stand flat-footed on your word in Proverbs 13:22 (NIV) that states, “a good person leaves an inheritance for his children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous,” and believe that you have given me the creative ability and award-winning thoughts and ideas to build wealth and leave an inheritance for my children.

Father God I receive fresh confidence in you and increased power through this spoken word to command a divine transference of wealth out of the hands that’s holding it back into my hands, my pocket-book and my bank accounts. I stand on Mark 11:23 which says, “that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” So by faith I make this declaration that I receive and believe that money comes to me now!

I command everything blocking my revenue streams and channels to be flushed out now in Jesus name! I declare that my confession is by faith and I receive a one hundred fold return on every seed in my hand and those which I have already planted. And Satan, in the name of Jesus, by the word of the living God, I rebuke you! You are the thief! Take your filthy hands off my money! It is not yours! Release it now! I take it by force! Get off my property, get off my land in the name of Jesus!

Now Father God, I thank you according to Philippians 4:19 for meeting all of my needs according to the riches of your glory in Christ Jesus. I call it done! I declare every curse of poverty, lack and insufficiency is broken off my life and my family’s life. I declare that all our bills are paid in full and according to Deuteronomy 15:6 that you will bless us as promised and we are the lenders and not the borrowers. We walk in the newness of life and this new season of abundance of your blessings in Jesus mighty name, amen!

[Now open your mouth and begin to lift up a praise unto God for all He has done and in anticipation for what He is about to do] Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!
