Forgiveness Is Key To The Healing Of Your Soul!
“Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the alter, and there rememberest that thy brother hath aught against thee; Leave there thy gift before the alter, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother and then come and offer thy gift. ~ Matthew 5:23-24. Jesus made no exception to this His word but made it absolutely clear that forgiving others and being forgiven yourself by others are pre-requisites to Him accepting our gifts at the alter.
Further, He said, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” ~ Matthew 5:48. It is clearly the duty of every Christian believer to desire, and aim at, and press towards a perfection in grace and holiness. To achieve this and to be the example to others as Christ expects us to be, we must be willing to
(1) Do good to our enemies
(2) Forgive the injuries that others have caused us.
(3) Entertain strangers
(4) Do good to the evil and the unthankful.
Truly if we were to follow each day these basis principles & truths in the word of God, our lives would be less stressful, our hearts and our minds would be free of impurities of unforgiveness so that God’s love may abide in us and lastly our souls would be healed and set free. Let the healing begin, forgiveness is the key to unlock your blessing.

I have been coming to this blog and never clicked to read this particular blog UNTIL today. In a nutshell, it is like God saying to me. 'I told you so'. I am just glad I read this AFTER I had taken some hard measures to clean out my heart and life. In this new season of mine, I had to let go and let God. I had to realise that forgiving someone does not mean they are right. It means I am free! Truly free!
Being Salt means that the ice of un-forgiveness had to melt away cos that is what salt does.

Many a time we blame the devil for our lack of sensitivity. How many times, after prayer, does the small screen show us an image of one whom we dealt wth unfairly? And how many times hve we brushed that face aside? How many times hve we said to ourselves that it is only the devil tricking us into guilt (and eventually into doubt)?
The spirit of God has been at pains trying to open our eyes and minds to see areas that need our attention but all His attempts have been in vain. When nothing happens, when our prayers seem to have yielded nothing, what we say and think are miles away from God's reasons for witholding results. It is imperative therefore, that each prompting frm the Spirit of God receives due attention. Pray about what u don't understand. God is faithful and just, He leads us into paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
And think about this: How can you hold anything against one who God has forgiven? How can u show animosity towards one so loved by God? How can you withdraw your hand when it is you that God had appointed to serve? It is a show of obedience to God's commandments to love and to forgive.
We run the danger of prioritising our needs and ego before God's. Anything offered to God as sacrifice is an investment. If you've been hurt, remove your crown, decrease, so that God will increase in you. The rewards are great!
Take a trip dwn memory lane today and check your relationships to see if there's some that need mending. Open the rusty gate of love and you'll be overwhelmed with the pile-up!
