From Broken To Whole

Taking a moment today to reflect on life. It suddenly dawned on me, how fragile it is.
A delicate flower. Fragrance petals. The color of the rainbow.
As morning breaks into day, I smell the wetness of the dew drops. But then the sun peaks its head above in the horizon. Beautiful rays of sunshine, and before it sets into submission to the light of the starry sky, the flower fades with its head bowed down, it silently retreats and the life of the flower is whiffed away into a state of unconsciousness.
The subject of ridicule. Taunted. In the midst of such indignity and humiliation, you appear weak in the eyes of your attacker. Sickness plaguing your body. Sadness.
The nuts and the bolts that holds the joints are let loose, and the frame crumbles. Your heart becomes burdened with grief. Your soul bleed with pain because once again death sinks its ugly teeth into your delicate tissues, it rips into the very core, leaving holes in your flesh like a child punching holes into play dough.
Life is fragile. Delicate. Yet deep within lies her innocence through the promise of new life and one that you must be willing to discover.
My open letter to you
So I write this open letter to you
But no matter what the situation and the circumstances that you may be faced with today, God is your only refuge and strength.
Take courage and find your strength in God. When your light turn into darkness and things look black and threatening, comfort comes not at the end, but in the middle of your experience. Be encouraged to take comfort in God as the only one who can bring you from broken to whole.
You will overcome. You will triumph in God and mount up on wings like an eagle.
Take refuge in His presence. By faith, see God appearing on your behalf. See God as your help, a present help, and a found help, as the word of God implies.
To triumph over your greatest dangers, see God as the only one who is all-sufficient. Divorce yourself from fear. It is your duty according to the word of God to do so. For He did not give you a spirit to fear but of power, love and a sound mind. It is your privilege, to be fearless; it is an evidence of a clear conscience, of an honest heart, and of a lively faith in God and His providence and promise.
Conclusion..
Be of good courage and be of god cheer. God sees your tears, He sees your hurt and discouragement, He sees your frustration, He sees your pain and grief, He sees your struggles, He sees your weaknesses and your fragility, He sees your discomfort – but He is right there and He is your only refuge and strength! Rest in His peace and assurance that if it pleases God not to deliver the body from temporal death, yet in His mercy and His grace, He will deliver the soul from spiritual and eternal death. Our souls must therefore wait for Him and rely on Him. We must rejoice in God and trust in His holy name so that you and I can go from broken to whole.
I pray that this has been a blessing to you. I would love to hear your thoughts, please leave a comment.
