10 Life Changing Positive Affirmations

If you’ve ever tried to make behavioral changes in your own life, you would understand it is often not one of the easiest things to do. Negative thoughts, attitude and our mind set are things that develop over time. They become habits and are definitely some of the hardest to break.
Thoughts especially are measurable and they occupy what is called mental ‘real estate.’ They are active and like plants, they grow and change. They influence our decision, the words we speak, our actions and even the physical reaction that we make each day.
Today however I share with you a much better way. It’s called changing your life through positive affirmations. It’s an expression of who you really are – with the potential to cultivate your core identity and to shape your destiny. I challenge you to speak these things over your life. Repeat them as often as you can and watch your life be irreversibly transformed into the best you.
“I embrace the fullness of the Godhead in me. God makes the ordinary into the extraordinary while He makes crooked paths straight and rough roads smooth, and the journey becomes easier and all my burdens are made light.”
“I have the peace of God within me that surpasses all understanding, which allows me to love and be more accepting of others around me.”
“A key element to my success is not to focus on trivial and frivolous matters, but to concentrate all my energy on the things I know that I have a God-given creative ability to do. I choose to focus on my passion in life, it may not always be the direction in which the crowd is moving, but I embrace Godly wisdom that tells me the right way to go and I move in that direction.”
“I have the Spirit of God within me that keeps me in line with Godly values and principles..never to compromise, but to live by faith that caused me to do for others as I would do for myself.”
“I choose to show kindness, love and compassion that leaves a lasting legacy in the hearts and minds of those with whom I come into contact with. I have light to my path by God’s word which is the lamp unto my feet.”
“My mouth is filled with good things – the things that will encourage and edify. I have purposed in my heart to give answers that are soft to turn away wrath. I am quick to listen, yet slow to speak back to others.”
“I choose to have my thoughts to be in alignment with the word of God. Every word that I speak as a result brings forth abundance in every area of my life. I choose my thoughts wisely.”
“I act upon what I believe by faith. I have what it takes and I am destined to win. All things I believe and hope for are working out as I have planned it. My life is at its’ best.”9. On taking full control
“My accomplishments in life is not anything that I can do on my own, but by the grace of God and the gifts and talents He has placed inside of me. I am destined to finish strong, because I am an overcomer.”

I love this! Especially #6 – I'm in a season where I'm learning to listen and truly hear more rather than speak and give my thoughts/opinions. These are all great affirmations to apply in our daily life. Thank you so much for your participation in the Divas With A Purpose Bloggers Party – you, my friend, are absolutely awesome! I will be speaking positive affirmations! Thanks for the share. Nice to meet you!
Hi Myne, I am happy that you've found the affirmations useful. Knowledge is key to power and by that I mean, I love the use of 'arsenal' being equated with the 'word.' As children of God, it is among our major weaponry doing spiritual battle/warfare, to build our faith and to bring about the promises of God in our lives. Blessings and thanks for stopping by.
Hi Janelle, application of the word is definitely key to the process..It not only helps to build our faith in God but it allows Him to bring about the results in our lives of what we are making confession to.
These are really great positive affirmations. I will surely be using those that hadn't been in my arsenal yet. Thanks for sharing.
Beautifully articulated words of affirmation. Thank you for sharing and giving us the opportunity to apply them to our own lives! God bless you!
Hi Bola, you have quite rightly said the word, “Greater is he [GOD] that is in you than he [any demonic force or power, Satan] that is in the world. He meaning the latter will not give up on unleashing his attacks on us but we've got to stand under the anointing of the GREATER ONE in us and paralyze and render him and all his henchmen impotent, null, void, destroyed with an apostolic/prophetic faith confession of the word of God!
You are blessed and no man can curse what God has already blessed..Stand strong and see the salvation of the Lord take precedence in your life. I am happy that you've found the confessions useful and applicable to your life. Feel free to share them with others as well. God bless you!
I love positive confessions! Thanks for these. Last night I had a nightmare. A woman had her finger on my neck like she was trying to take my pulse but as she did that it was like she 'muted' my voice. I knew I was speaking God's word but no sound was coming out! But I kept at it and finally, my voice SPOKE and the words that came out were 'JESUS IS STRONGER THAN YOU'! I woke up yelling those words and even though I was scared and my heart was pounding, I was so even in my sleep, God's word – Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world – was deep enough in me to break forth when I needed it!
Thank you for sharing these. I am going to add them to my collection.
