Don’t Let The Tough Times Beat You, There Is Grace Sufficient For Your Trials Today
“For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9)
I am utterly convinced that none of us are given more tests and trials than what strength and grace God gives to us on any given day, even though at times we may find ourselves in ‘places’ where the odds are against us and the world seem to be frowning at us.
I am of the opinion that successful people in life have failed miserably many times before they finally had their breakthrough. Likewise, those who seem to be failing all of the time was once at the peak of their success mountain before something drastically went wrong that they now find themselves struggling at their wits end wondering when their turnaround will ever come.
There are those who I believe are suffering in silence through these very tough times, and are currently taking a beating from it. Then there are those who have prayed, fasted, believed and prayed again, yet they seem stuck and don’t know the next move to make.

According to Christopher Jennings Penders, “In the middle of a storm when you’re being tossed about and you can’t see what will come of this emotional storm you’re in, it is completely understandable to lose hope, to lose faith, however storms are necessary to blow away unwanted debris. Once your storm has passed and there is a brightening to your soul, you may look back and have an epiphany and say: HOLY COW! That’s why that happened. Just hold on and don’t give up.”
So to you, I say, Don’t give up and don’t let the tough times beat you! Stay positive and stay focused. You lose common sense when you let desperation take over. You lose your sense of sound reasoning and your judgement becomes flawed.
You may not fully accept your storm, but you must be willing to trust God with the process. Do not retire from the promise just because you dislike the process. God never give to any of us more than we can bear. His strength is made perfect in your weakness and as your days are, so shall your strength be.
Commit to your dream, even though it tarry, wait for it. It shall come to pass.
I can say that to you with confidence because, I have discovered through my own experiences that God works in this thing called time through us who have limited time, to accomplish the miraculous. So make an effort to keep your head above the water.
Make an effort to release your praise unto Him who is worthy of all the praise. Effort will only release its reward when you refuse to quit. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Shout with a voice of triumph! Don’t let the tough times beat you, have faith in God, His grace is sufficient for the trials you face today!
