Prayer – 10 Confessions Of Peace And Comfort
God of all creation and the final disposer of all things seen and unseen, we come boldly once again to your throne of grace and the place where we obtain mercy. We ascribe all the glory, honor and praise unto you. You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and the giver of this precious gift called life. In our own respective way, as your son/daughter, we boldly make these confessions about your word over our lives as it relates to peace and comfort and, we declare that all things work for good to them that love you and are the called according to your purpose.
God has not given me a spirit to fear or unrest, but He has given unto me a spirit of power, and of love, and a sound and peaceful mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
I abide in the peace of God, and I allow His peace to rule my heart each and every day. (Colossians 3:15)
The Lord has ordained peace for my life, and He has established all of my works in Him. (Isaiah 26:12)
As Jesus rebuked the wind and raging sea, and commanded them to be at peace, He has also given me the authority to decree peace upon the storms of my life. Therefore, I decree and declare, “Peace, be still,” to every disturbance and storm in my life. (Mark 4:39)
The Lord continually lifts up His countenance upon me, and He gives me His peace. (Numbers 6:26)
Because I love and dwell in the word of God, I have great peace upon my life and upon my heart; therefore, I shall not allow anything to worry or trouble me. (Psalm 119:165)
Even in the midst of the storm, the Lord causes me to lie down in quiet, green pastures, and He leads me beside peaceful, still waters. (psalm 23:2)
My heart follows after things that produce peace, and things that bring edification. (Romans 14:19)
I am justified by faith, and I have the peace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
I keep my mind upon things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, things that are of a good report, and things that have virtue and praise. (Philippians 4:8)

Great words of comfort and peace. It is amazing how the word of God brings peace to the soul. It's calming effect is awesome. When we meditate on the word of God the storms will subside. It is like medication for the spirit. Good post.
