Prayer For The Sick, Suffering and The Persecuted

Dear God, we come into this secret place in you, our Rock and shield and we cast all our cares upon you. We remain firm in our faith that you are the only one who can help to bring this marred, broken, lost, dying and dark world back into your marvelous light and grace.

Forgive us for where we fell short of the mark of your expectations and where we sinned in thought, word and our actions.

Take not your Holy Spirit from us. Restore the joy of thy salvation and renew a right spirit within us that will allow the character of Christ to reverberate through us.

May your good and perfect will be done here on this earth as we present our bodies as instruments of your righteousness

Let your river of grace gush through the heart and soul of the sick, suffering and afflicted to bring about healing, wholeness and full recovery. Bring comfort to those who are experiencing grief, loss and pain through the death of their loved ones.

Lift up the downtrodden and the fallen. Strengthen those who are weak. Stop the whirlwind of difficulties that’s been blowing relentlessly upon your children.

We humbly ask that you turn back the tidal waves of persecution that have befallen your children around the world, especially in Nigeria, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria and India [name your country here]

We understand by your word that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places.

Still we pray Lord, let justice be quick and swift to those who knowingly sold themselves to the devil to be perpetrators of terror, strife, war, murders and who go about slaughtering and killing your people. Give them no place whatsoever to hide.

Let their camp fall into disarray as you turn them in to law enforcement agencies so that they face the stiffest punishment and penalty for the numerous crimes they have committed in these lands.

For those forced to do evil acts against their will, God we ask that your divine providence will lead them to the feet of Jesus so that they be loosed from evil entanglements and ungodly soul ties. May they receive the gift of salvation and eternal life that comes only through you.

We ask all these mercies in Jesus name, amen.
