When God Seems Far Away From You

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;  and saveth such that be of a contrite spirit. v19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” ~ Psalm 34:18-19

The Lord is never far from His people. Of course it feels like that at times, especially when you are in the peak of your spiritual battle or your physical struggles.

It is easy to feel powerless and helpless, as if you are the only one there facing your struggles.

And guess what? That is exactly what the devil will want you to believe – that no one is with you, that God don’t care about you, that you are a failure and that you will never make it in life.

But God cannot lie! His word is yea and amen. He keeps His promises and will never fail you.

He is never late and is always with you, even unto the end of the age.

Your heart may be feeling broken right now, but help is on the way.

The Psalmist David had his own experiences,  and even in the midst of them,  he trusted in our loving Father that He (God) will save him and deliver him out of his troubles.

And sure enough, God did deliver David out of all his troubles.

You too must surrender and put your trust in God. Walk by faith and not by what you can see in your present circumstances.

All things work together for the good of them that love God and are called according to his purpose.

PRAY THIS PRAYER

God of all creation, Abba Father we thank you for this day you have made and for this your word. Your word is truth and life and a lamp to our feet and a light to our pathway.

Strengthen us we pray, heal and deliver them that are of a broken spirit and a faint heart.  Deliver us from evil and from troubles that we face. Deliver us from every evil entanglements.

Grant us the victory by the power of your Holy Ghost,  by your blood and the power of your word. Set the captives free for whom you set free is free indeed.

Help us to walk by faith and not by sight in Jesus name Amen.
