God’s Loving Kindness and His Faithfulness Never Cease
“The Lord’s loving kindness indeed never cease, for his compassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” ~ Lamentations 3:22-23
It is the start of a brand new month, today being the third day and the first Sunday.
For some of us, we have had many ups and down and have witnessed first hand varying troubled times.
For others, you have not accomplished the goals as you had planned them to be by this time of the year because of the many set backs. The road these past months was rough. There have been occasions you thought you would not make it to this point.
You even had disappointments and is feeling the weight of discouragement at this very moment.
The truth be told, you are not alone.
Such emotions affect all of us at one point or the other which can cause us to loose focus on the things that matters most, such as being grateful and appreciating life and the good things that you already have.
In spite of it all though, I am certain you will agree that God’s love, mercy and His grace never once failed. Time after time He has proved His faithfulness and have carried you over the bridge of your troubled waters.
I can attest to the fact that God is near to them that are of a broken heart and save such that are of a contrite spirit. (Psalm 34:18) His guardian angel encamp round about them that keep a reverent, holy fear of him and he delights in delivering such out of his/her troubles. (Psalm 34:7)
For as long as you and I have life, we will have tests and trials. The road will not always be smooth but let us turn to the everlasting and one true God and find hope in Him.
The Psalmist David was a man according to Gods own heart, yet he did not escape afflictions and trying times. Instead, he boldly confessed that though our afflictions be many, God will deliver us out of them all.
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord deliver him out of them all.” ~ Psalm 34:19
Moreover, consider it pure joy when you meet with many kinds of temptations and trials knowing that the testing and trying of your faith produces perseverance. – James 1:2-3
I often find that my greatest trial result in my biggest miracle. So don’t give up!
