Royal Princess Named In Honor of Grand Parents and Great-Grandmother

The wait is finally over and the new British Princess gets her name. It’s definitely a touching tribute! 🙂

Kate and William have chosen to name the Princess after the Queen and William’s late mother, the Princess of Wales.

A princess called Charlotte – a name that is French in origin, is a nod to her grandfather, the Prince of Wales.

The baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
