Top Bible Quotes About God’s Compassion and Love

From Genesis to Revelation the Bible is consistent with truth that are undeniable and which we experience in our daily lives. One such truth is about God’s unwavering love and compassion to us who ever so often because of our sinful nature is so undeserving of His grace.

What are some of the top Bible quotes on God’s compassion and love?

2.) But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (it is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. ~ Ephesians 2:4-7 NLT

3.) When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. ~ Matthew 9:36

8.) And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land. ~ Jeremiah 12:15 KJV

12.) For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. ~ John 3:16-17 NLT
