Your Determination To Win Is The Best Part Of Winning

I am more determined than ever to push ahead in life believing that my worse days are behind me and my best days are ahead of me. It is resolute and it is fixed in my mind!

How about you? Where do you see yourself by the end of this year or let’s say in the next two to five years? Will your dreams be realized? Will your goals be met by then?

The thing about accomplishing in life is that no one succeeds without effort. You cannot perform great things by just relying on your strength. It has to be through perseverance.

Your greatest affirmation as you journey through life should be one of determination and that you constantly declare and see yourself as winner. Here are some affirmations that will encourage you.

  1. I am a winner!

  3. I won’t stop until I succeed!
  4. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
  5. I am headed in the right direction because my steps are ordered by the Lord
  6. I am determined to push through my pain until my goals are met
  7. I am ready and open to take risks
  8. My thoughts are in alignment with my purpose and my destiny.

  1. Hey Yvonne,

One book I’ve read a couple of years back was Noah St. John’s “The Secret Code Of Success” which helped me out a lot. I believe that affirmations work for some people, but it didn’t work well with me. So Noah talk about a great alternative that will work for people like me called afformations.

How do they work? Instead of making a statement, you would turn it into a positive question. So for example, instead of saying “I am a winner!” you would ask yourself “Why am I a winner?” which automatically results in you coming up with your own answers.

It’s like you tapping into the Godlike qualities that’s already within all of us. We just have to wake it up

Thanks for sharing Yvonne! These definitely gives me some ideas of coming up with more affirmations. Take Care!

    • Hey Sherman,

This is definitely a great addition to the post. I’ve never heard the mention of afformations before but now you’ve explained it, it does make all the difference. I guess this is something that can be used interchangeably with affirmations. It all depends on the circumstances at the time. What do you think? 🙂

It’s only like in the past two – three years that I’ve really turned my focus on affirmations. I used to be very negative in my thinking – defeating thoughts, speaking and acting out the worse. But one day things changed and just as you mentioned, the Godlike qualities already in me awakened and instead of giving power over to death by my thoughts and words, I think and speak positive things that give life to my hopes, my dreams and goals in life.

Great to have you here Sherman sharing positive vibes with us. Have a great week. Cheers! 🙂

  2. Hi Yvonne,

Affirmations are great and incredibly powerful, along with prayer, I’ve come to learn. I’ll never forget one time I said one to myself that I really wanted and it was like overnight it worked. I was motivated in a truly natural way.

You’ve listed some great affirmations and they’re short enough for anyone to remember so they can stick with them.

One of my faves, especially when going through a tough time, is I am stronger than my challenges and can overcome them with ease. It reminds me that a challenge is not a sign to quit but an exercise in ability.

    Great stuff Yvonne!

    • Hello Lea

I am always so honored by your presence here. Thanks for sparing the time to stop by.

Glad you mentioned prayer alongside affirmations as powerful tools that we are to use to keep us motivated and encouraged as we persevere along life’s journey.

“I am stronger than my challenges and can overcome them with ease” is a powerful affirmation. I must remember that.

Thanks for your participation and have a wonderful day. Enjoy the weekend. 🙂

  3. Thank you for sharing this, Yvonne. I almost want to say that what you are describing here can become like a cycle. To become determined, we need to get excited, and by getting excited, we become determined.

An affirmation I am holding on to is “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world”.

    Have great day.

    • Hello Jaco,

Let’s hope it is a good cycle to be in. 🙂 I love the way you described being determined and excited so that’s all good.

That is such a powerful affirmation knowing that God who dwells in you the believer is by far greater than anything out there in the world. I love that and thank you so much for sharing it. God bless you and enjoy what’s left of the week. It passed by so quickly.
