5 Powerful Scriptures to Move You From Doubt to Faith
“Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~Psalm 46:10
Life if great because after all, life is God and God is life! Not only that, when God considered who or what He would share His life and love with, the bible says He created us, He blew His breath into man’s nostrils and man became a living soul. Beautiful and divine, isn’t it?
But where the difficult comes in is when you begin to experience doubt because of what life allows into your world. Your faith comes under serious attack by the spirit of doubt and as a result of those not so pleasant situations, you begin to question God’s existance, where He is and why He would allow such in the first instance. You even wonder whether or not He is someone who really keeps His promises.
You or someone you know may be at that place today and is struggling with doubt in your life and Christian walk. What do you do? How do you fight back in order to ensure that you are not defeated by doubt? Here are some bible verses that are most helpful in getting you to move from a place of doubt to a place of faith:
1.) “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ~Jeremiah 29:11
2.) “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” ~Psalm 27:13-14
3.) “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” ~Proverbs 3:5-6
4.) “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for my sake. v16 Behold, I have created the smith that blowetg the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. v17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. Thisis the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” ~ Isaiah 54:15-17
5.) “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most HIGH shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. v2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. v3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence…” Psalm 91
The assurance is that God is trustworthy. He keeps His word and fulfill His promises. It may not be in the time that you want it to, but He will work things out for your good and for His glory and give you His peace.
I wrote before about how the Lord put on my heart to open a daycare. I have inquired into a franchise. I don’t have the funds, but I have the will. Please pray for me. I know my daycare will be a blessing to my community
