Inspired To Write Again And Living My Dream

Inspired To Write Again

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6 (New American Standard Bible)

It has been a full year since I have written and published any posts on my website but today, I am delighted to announce the return of my blog on Thursday, June 21st, 2018. Work is ongoing behind the scenes and on the day of my return to this my virtual space, you will notice a few changes, including a new site name.

I am indeed excited not only about what God is doing in my life but what He is doing in the earth. The scripture says, “No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this. Never so much imagined anything quite like it – What God has arranged for those who love Him.” [1 Corinthians 2:9 MSG]

The important thing is to never give up on your dreams! No matter what obstacles or setbacks you come up against, allow yourself the opportunity to envision the things that are even more magnificent! Your possibilities are endless and far greater than what you could have ever imagined. Just allow God to have His way and watch Him bring to pass all the things you have always desired.

  6. Welcome back, Yvonne. It is hard to believe that it has been a full year since you blog. Never give up on your dreams. The hurricane devastated us but it can’t crush our spirit. After the hurricane, I felt like giving up because of all the fear and confusion that were in the atmosphere. The devil tried to hinder my book from publishing but the Lord allowed my daughter to release it on Amazon. Yes, the devil is still at work but I know that our God is bigger. Please pray for me and my family as I continue to pray for you and your family also. God bless you Yvonne and keep on pressing.

    • Hey Beverley,

Thanks for your encouragement. Congratulations on your book publication. It is something you had always wanted to do.

For me with my blog, it was just one of those times, I just hit such a low point in my life and just did not want anything to do with the blog – “like a love affair went wrong and neither could explain what happened” So we went through a period of separation, if that makes any sense of what I am saying. 🙂 Anyway God has been good to us! He picked me up and through a woman of God sent a word to let me know I needed to start my writing again.

      • I understand Yvonne. I felt so depressed after the storm but the Lord told me to use my phone to write about my feelings. So I wrote a devotional for the entire month of October just venting my feelings. It helps. God restored my joy and I gained the strength to continue. You are a writer and God call you into His kingdom for such a time as this. I pray that God will continue to give you the strength to press on. Blessings

      • Amen sis Beverley! I receive that word. It brings further confirmation. My prayer is that God will continue to help me to put into words what I am hearing and seeing and to then write about it. Be blessed! Your labor is not in vain. 🙂
