You Are Chosen To Be Blessed!

No one can dispute the fact that heaven is indeed the throne of God’s Government and the earth is His footstool on which He stands, overruling all the affairs of it according to His will! He has a temple of man’s making but yet He is the one who overlooks them all, that He may look with favour to him who is poor in spirit, humble and serious, self-abasing, self-denying and whose heart is fully contrite for sin, penitent for it, and in pain to get pardoned. Such a heart is a living temple for God, and He is delighted to dwell there as He watches over it. The penman of the gospel of Matthew 5:3 says, “Blessed (God’s favour being evident in one’s life, happy, joyful) is the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” All this means is, those who humble themselves and continue to acknowledge their helpless state without God, and so depend on Him daily, are the ones that shall in the end be exalted. The great high spirits go away with the glory of the kingdoms of the earth, but the humble, mild and yielding souls obtain the kingdom of heaven!

Happy is the man (therefore) that trembles at the word of the Lord.” (Proverbs 29:14) May God continue to richly bless and favour His children far beyond and above that which one can even imagine! Remember, “you are chosen to be blessed!”
