Prayer To Release Forgiveness To Others

Father God we come before your throne of grace asking your forgiveness to the men and women who have trespassed against us. As Jesus was on the cross, and He had been unjustly beaten and abused by men; but yet He asked you to forgive them, so God we walk in the way of Christ and ask you to forgive them for the wrong they have done to us. May you show them the error of their ways Lord. We pray that you release them from the condemnation of the wrong doing, and help them not to walk in this transgression again against us or anyone else. Lord release us from the pain, hurt, discouragement and disappointment that the perpetrators have caused in our lives and in our hearts; and thank you for filling the place with the love of God. We bind the spirit of hatred, anger, strife and bitterness that would try to hold on to us as a result of this transgression. By the power and the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, we loose their hold, grip and stronghold from our heart and we decree that by the power of your Holy Spirit that we are set free now, in Jesus name, amen.
