Moment Of Inspiration – Make A Commitment To Be Successful
“Success is brought by continued labor and continued watchfulness. We must struggle on, not for one moment hesitate, nor take one backward step.” ~ William Jennings Bryan
Buried deep within each one of us is our desire to succeed. We pursue it with a passion! A small population simply inherit it and it is passed down through their bloodline from one generation to the next. No hard work necessary. But for the majority of us, we must work hard in order to succeed. Success comes to us through our constant labor, through blood, sweat and tears.
We must persevere. In order to maintain success, it means we must continue to be watchful and vigilant. There is never a dull moment in our lives simply because of our internal drive and our ambition to stay ahead of the game. To those of us that are in management and leadership positions, we must ensure that we remain current and relevant as we lead those who follow us.
We must make a commitment to be successful and continue to stay focused in whatever area we want to be successful in – whatever we choose to do and what we choose to become. Discover your own brand and then brand yourself with it to succeed.
We may be challenged by what’s happening in the world economy. But the truth is, in God’s economy there is never a recession nor a deep depression. The currency that we all need is faith – faith as small as a grain of mustard seed is what it takes to start.
The beginning may seem small but scripture tells us, to never despise a small beginning. As long as you and I remain faithful, God will in due season reward us and make us ruler over the great and mighty things.
Your turn….

Hi Janelle, your point is spot on about having the peace of God. There are many who are successful but who do not really have the peace of God, hence true peace. Blessings and as always thanks for your participation.
Thanks Ava for your contribution. Some very valid points that you have made. Your phrase “by staying on top” suggest to me a mind set that articulates success and victory. Very positive attributes to have! Blessings!
For me success is staying on top in every aspect of my life.By staying on top…..I mean…being the overcomer, staying positive, keeping my head above the” water”, winning the race, having my needs met, being a blessing to others and also walking in victory and peace. To me, this is true success. I rely a lot on the peace “Shalom” of God….nothing missing, nothing broken. Good post Yvonne.
Success mean different things to different people. And while some view success as having a lot of material things, especially money, for me just having the peace of God and the understanding that all things will work to my advantage is enough for me. Beautiful inspiration!
