Prayer Of Hope

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans 15:13) Heavenly Father we praise your great name as we offer thanks unto you for this a brand new day that you have spared our life to see. We look to you as our only hope for a better and brighter day. You only know what lies ahead of us – you alone know our down sitting and our uprising, you understand our thoughts from afar off. We live in a world often marred by perplexities and troubles but still we must look to you from where our help, hope and strength comes from.

According to your word in Isaiah 40: 29-31, you give power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Your word further declares that even the youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

You are unchangeable and we wait with eager anticipation that you will bring this promise into fruition in our lives because we trust in you. Thank you for your unfailing love and for supplying all our needs from your glorious riches through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, amen.
