Their selection of the top 12 is said to be based on factors such as average annual salary, projected hiring outlook, the number of women in the field, as well as other criteria such as stress and physical demands. Here they are:

Actuary (person who computes premium rates, dividends, risks etc.)

  • BLS Annual Average Salary: $93,680
  • Projected hiring outlook by 2022 is 26%

As per the 2014 Jobs Rated report, Actuary is a rapidly growing and potentially lucrative field.

Advertising and Promotions Manager

  • BLS Annual Average Salary: $115,750
  • Projected hiring outlook by 2022 is 12%

Computer Systems Analysts

  • BLS Annual Average Salary: $79,680
  • Projected hiring outlook by 2022 is 25%

Much growth in this sector, great career opportunities for women and is among the top hiring jobs in the industry

Dental Hygienist
