Getting Back On Track
Hi everyone, I hope you had a great week and like me, you are looking forward to this weekend for some much needed R&R. I sure need that! My week has been very hectic – hours of travel, hours waiting around at airports to board my flights. Don’t get me wrong though. Truth, I love to travel. I love to meet new people, not to mention, I love visiting cities and places I’ve never gone before. Sure you’ll agree, no two are alike. My business travel took me to Charlotte, North Carolina and then over to Cleveland, Tennessee – both very beautiful places.
For those of you that genuinely follow my blog and look forward to columns posted here on Empowerment Moments (EMoments), thank you for your patience and your understanding. If you are celebrating your birthday today, happy birthday! How about an anniversary, especially your wedding? Happy anniversary! I’m here getting over my jet lag, and will be back on track shortly. Meanwhile, continue to run the race set before us and look to Jesus only as the Author and finisher of our faith. Let us continue to explore God’s truth and immerse ourselves in the word of God – it’s a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway. Tap into your God-given potential and maximize it to the fullest! Make full proof of the gospel, utilize your gifts and talents for the glory of God since no one else can do your part but you.
Tina Su once said, “Every morning is a new beginning, a new chance for you to rewrite the story of your life.“
Make the best of your life today! Write and re-write your goals and aspirations. Ask God to give you the guidance and strategies that you need to accomplish each one. Pursue your passion, pursue peace, joy and happiness. Giving thanks always in everything that you may find yourself in. Launch out into the deep and beyond the shores of the norm and what you are familiar with. You cannot discover the new oceans unless you master the courage to loose sight of the shore. Be of good courage and have faith in God!
